Water Billing and Payments

Residents can now make online payments here!

Billing is done between the 18th and 22nd of each month. If you have not received your water bill by the 1st, contact HWS to request your balance on your account. All water bills are due by the close of business day on the 15th of the following month.

After the 15th there is a 10% late fee accessed to the bill. All water bills with late fees not paid by close of business day on the 25th of each month will be cutoff on the 26th and a $50.00 reconnect fee will be charged prior to the water being turned on.

*Please note it is against Texas state law to tamper with with water meters.*

Be advised, water disconnected due to non-payment or missing trash receptacles are not considered emergencies. 

Please contact City Hall during normal business hours to address these issues.

Please be aware that if you choose to make a payment through you banking instituation’s online bill pay, they will send a paper check and it may take up to 10 business days for it to be processed and credited. If this is the case, you are still responsible for any late fees that incur during the extended wait time.

If payment is lost by mail, it is still your responsibility to ensure the issue is resolved before late penalties are assessed. 
 
We accept the following methods of payment for water bills:

  • Check
  • Money Order
  • Visa
  • Mastercard
  • American Express
  • Discover

We reserve the right to charge a 3% fee for credit card transactions.

We apologize, but at this time we cannot accept cash payments.

Bills may be paid over the phone, in person, nightly drop box outside city hall, or by mail through any of the aforementioned methods.
